Let’s look at a hypothetical scenario.  Someone hears a rumor, years ago, that some currencies may actually revalue.  They begin to research and end up going down the dinarland rabbit hole.  The word gets out that some legacy bond issuances may finally be honored.  So they start acquiring some of those.  Everything thus far has been nothing but shear speculation and the acquisition of an expensive lottery ticket.  Basically, to make a buck.  As one continues down this journey they start to hear about some astronomical redemption numbers, ranging anywhere from the millions to the billions.

Gurus pop up everywhere.  Many of which monetize the opportunity (but I digress).  The talk of getting even more astronomical amounts, if tied to projects, starts to go around.  This is now the lottery to end all lotteries.  Different groups start planning parties; group get togethers,  and vacations, to places like Banff, Europe and Hawaii; being flown there on private jets;  spending 100’s of thousands just to have a drink together… as now money is no object.…

One night they sit back and reflect.  They think of their friend who has been working on something unique’ something that can truly benefit humanity. Or has a true humanitarian’s heart.  The more they reflect, the more they realize those people need to be empowered.  Those people cannot be excluded from this.  Those people will make a necessary difference in the lives of thousands/millions of others.

They make the conscious decision to forgo the millions.  To forget about the billions. The discussion shifts from private jets, to empowering others. And… as a result, they gift their lottery tickets to another.  They know they did the right thing, and they know why.  And the Christ within shines through and smiles…

Is there better validation than this?  Do you know many that would forgo hundreds of millions to empower another?  Is this common practice in your world?  Or is it the exception?

You can have all the speculators.  You can have all the lottery ticket buyers.  You can have the jet set crowd.  Give me the “Gifted”, the true humanitarians.  The ones with Christ’s light shining so brightly through them, not even their fellow man could ignore it.  And paid them the ultimate compliment by personally forgoing millions to insure their empowerment.

Godspeed.
