my mind was in a haze
i was feeling kinda numb
made me wanna suck my thumb
and be 3 again
free again
from coagulated dreams
and busted-out seams
in my head and shoes
what shall i do
2 get outta this loOp
away from the stoop
in my backbone, and frontyard
i know it ain’t that hard
2 BE Free Again
like majick 3 again
in my heART is where i stART
therapy of Dance and word-bird-art
lifts my spirit
i can hear it
saying, THANK~YOU 4 taking a gray, gloomy day
hearing what it had to say
and choosing 2 give yoursELF, 2 learning through plaY>>>>
