“Did Anyone Get it?” by Vee – 8.12.21

You need to opt-in for “Local and State Tests” in order to receive emergency alert tests. 

Here are the FCC instructions for opting in:

On my Galaxy S10e, I had to go to Notifications > Advanced Settings > Wireless Emergency Alerts and scroll down towards the bottom to enable it.

My husband and I opted in yesterday before 2:20 eastern and both got it.  Our two sons didn’t opt in and they didn’t.
