“Post-RV Life” by Kimberley (EU) – 9.11.21
Very well written Kimberly. Spot on. People need to exchange with others to keep the balance as you put it, so they feel worthy and not just a charity case- it allows them to maintain self respect, the most important virtue there is. I recently helped a friend who is a Vietnam vet and a 14 year volunteer fireman veteran. He is also my fiancé’s only true long term friend. She was also a volunteer firefighter when he was. He was always there for her as true friends will be.
He had surgery which took a while to make happen, through the VA. He had been out of work for past 2 months. He has disability and social security income and other side income but is now taking care of a grandson and had also paid out 1500 to put another younger family member into a local rehab facility when no one else would do anything for him, and after the young man betrayed him. My friend is a Saint. Loves Trump and his country.
We decided to help him monetarily before the RV. His heart just melted. We told him he has done his humanitarian service and we are his friends helping him get the acknowledgement and rewards he so richly deserves. We will be setting him up for the rest of his life monetarily post RV which he has already earned and deserves. No one has ever helped him like we have his entire life. The joy we felt for him watching his heart expand is worth more than any amount of money!! Helping others has its own spiritual pay.
Help people to help themselves. They must contribute to their own well being to feel worthy. Most of us are empaths on these patriots sites and love helping others. Success comes after one has paid the price through hard work, keeping ones personal ethics in and being honest. The financial success is deserved if achieved through these means. Those who have not “earned” their success waste it on frivolous things because it doesn’t mean anything to them. So receiving monetary help is always a challenge for the one giving it as Kimberly points out. Her post spells out the ground rules beautifully.
