All good points Zack.  Yes I am well aware only the 2008 AA Zim 100T notes are the real deal.  However, you point out that they say “pay to the bearor on demand”, is what makes it so valuable.  OK….so “on demand” is just that.  You should be able to walk into the Zimbabwe Treasury and redeem “on demand”.  Why wait for an RV or GCR that may or may not happen.  Tick tick tick the clock goes on. My understanding is bonds (as this apparently is) can be redeemed upon request, or sold privately with a haircut.  No point in waiting.

AND, if you actually think you can redeem for “face value” making you the richest person on Planet Earth, owning just one note, well, I have some ocean front property in Arizona to sell you (George Strait).  Will not happen.

But, I hope you are even partially right Zack.  I really do. Egads I am counting on it too!!!!!

Until then, I wait for the next delay forthcoming for another Kick the can down the road event.
