(Or as I told my daughters when they were following several hours behind me through Canada, “Do Not Turn Off the Road. Stay on it longer than you might think, because our destination is at the end.”) (That was Takhini River Hot Springs, Yukon Territory, and they called my cell to say they were driving over big rocks after turning off the highway with a Chevy Malibu too soon, making Dad too soon old!)
