Dinarland Highlights – 8.7.22

Mountain Goat

I get some questions on the VND Vietnam Dong as will it also RV along with the IQD Iraqi Dinar?  I will give you a short answer to this question – maybe  …the Vietnam war has been over for about 50 years and still they have their downgraded currency and larger three zero notes. Maybe it’s time to bring them to the standard of the western currency? We can see there is no hurry to change these notes, at least not what they are saying. We do also see a higher VND rate (.47 – $2.00) in the QFS staged to go at some point. So, something is up. This is a good sign.

Somebody said, ‘Protest aren’t real…it’s all fake over there.  They’re just doing that to throw us off.’  The protests are not fake…I’m not saying governments are truthful but to say all of their news and all their views on politics is a lie? …just go to google put in ‘Iraq protest’.  There’s article after article after article.  And it’s not just from Iraq.  You have the Washington Post…PBS, Jerusalem Post, ABC, Yahoo News…the news is not always BS…the protest is happening

[Iraq boots-on-the-ground report]

We are still hearing Kazemi made a big deal with the CBI and saying the dinar rate will change very soon. When?  We don’t know.  He doesn’t tell us…it sounds like they’re going to float the dinar but we’re not sure when.

We’re going to see a new exchange rate of the currency through Kazemi’s government and IMO parliament will eventually be dissolved.  Just like Kuwait…dissolved their parliament for a very good reason.  This will be good for Iraq… Kazemi will have a caretaker government with all the powers behind it…that dissolvement gives Kazemi majority rule.  This will give Kazemi full power for two years.  And that’s good.  No body will be able to do or say anything against him.  That’s a good amount of time IMO for the monetary and economic reforms.

You still waiting for the government when there is a clear timeline to release the rate anyway? …I don’t care about no seated GOI. They have to release the rate regardless.

[Response to Humble1 below]

There is no middle ground when you violate the constitution. The law [ESFL} should have never made it to the Gazette if his “argument” was legit. Mazhar Muhammad Saleh said specifically that it can’t be challenged by anyone in the government because it’s tied to entitlements which are connected to the constitution…The Gazette is the ground from which all laws can be proven legal/illegal simply by it being published in it or not.

Wells Fargo Private Bank – I consulted with them…this is the investment division of Well Fargo Bank…I asked him…if I had a bunch of foreign currency that revalued…because I’m allowing you to invest it would you exchange it for free He said yes as long as you had enough money…I don’t know what the minimum amount is.  You have to barter with them.

Iran completely lost control.  That’s very good news.  Iran lost control of Iraq and that’s good news.  The citizens of Iraq came out and said enough is enough.

Article:
Is it possible to dissolve parliament?

the EFSL – Yes it is law, but only because it has not gotten disputed and a suit filed with the courts, technically the law is unconstitutional, this article states that fact in black and white, not that I think it is, I rather like the law, as it helps Iraq, but none the less unconstitutional…the current government is the caretaker of daily affairs, and it does not have the constitutional legitimacy for that, according to Article (64-second) and according to the Federal Supreme Court’s decision No. 121 / Federal / 2022,

I personally like the law, and until it is challenged in court it is law, and legal.  No one objected because they also like the law, apparently.  It may never be taken to court, who knows. But the author of the article made a legitimate argument, the law should it be brought before the court would be found to be unconstitutional …I really hope no one does object to the law, because it is good for Iraq, and in a very round about way, good for the dinar investors like myself and others.
