People assume gold is worth a certain amount of dollars per ounce per the amount of gold that has been mined, refined and stored along with their estimates of what is in the ground.
The White Hats are claiming gold is worth so much per ounce of any currency for what is available in every country as many currencies are now gold backed.
You can compare gold to fiat currency for what someone can claim it is worth, but what is it really worth?
There are all these Bonds and Notes worth Milletillion (3003 zeroes) of what ever currency, but is an ounce of gold really worth a Note with a trillion zeroes or just single digits on it?
Maybe a ‘bar’ of gold can be worth just one dollar and then you can purchase a home with one dollar.
Maybe it has to come down to how many people are on Earth in relation to what resources are available and be worked with, as if there are 7.5 billion people with one gallon of water then the water is worth the Milletillion Note, but if there are only 100 people on Earth and 999 Septillion tons of water then the water is worth almost nothing.
What do we really have of people, gold, resources and currency as that all needs to be figured out to decide what the gold is worth, and I don’t think the Chinese Elders even know, but no one really knows the answer as no one really has put the numbers together and can get close to it.

Maybe the 1950’s prices can be a good starting point, but we really need the EBS announcement for everyone to be on the same page and not just rumors coming out with the can continually being kicked, as most are skeptics on this QFS and NESARA/GESARA info, as the e*******s in 4 weeks is what most are thinking of to get us back in order.
