Redfin just reported a massive collapse in real estate investor homebuying in 2023. With real estate investor purchases down 49% YoY across America. And by as much as 64% in a market like Phoenix.
These investors are running scared from the US Housing Market because of 1) declining home prices, 2) higher interest rates, and 3) a stagnating rental market.
Markets like Phoenix, Atlanta, Nashville, and Las Vegas have been the worst hit in terms of investors no longer buying. With sales dropping by 60%+ in these markets.
