In this morning’s report from Judy, I saw the following and am seriously confused.
The excitement is palpable as currency revaluations burst into the spotlight:
Iraqi Dinar: Reports from Thursday, October 9th, suggest the Dinar revalued at an international exchange rate of $6.02, with some earlier indications of rates between $4.12 to $7.45 at Exchange Centers.
Vietnam Dong: The Dong also saw its RV rate officially revealed today, potentially ranging from $3.65 to $4.25, with earlier estimates between $2.86 to $5.79.Is this report claiming the when exchanging Dinar, we can expect to receive $6.02 per Dinar note? That seems a bit outrageous since the current exchange rate is 1309 Dinar to 1 USD.
I’m equally confused about the announced Dong exchange rate “potentially ranging from $3.65 to $4.25″ since the current rate is 26,310 VND to 1 USD.
Would somebody please clarify these rates and also advise where one can actually view these “officially revealed rates?”
Thanks in advance!
