This is scheduled for the 6th and 7th of June. I have a couple sources in government in Iraq who says participants include the “Who’s Who” of economic figures from Iraq, Kurdistan and number of other countries will be there. My Finance Ministry contact is of the absolute, concrete belief that they plan on announcing their value changes at the end of this thing which is Sunday…I am hopeful this is accurate but take it a “RUMOR” and stay calm.

One of the top former auditors with the IRS promised us we will be paying taxes. If you guys want to risk not paying taxes, I would consult with a tax attorney for your best interest so you don’t end up in jail…The level of money involved in this, if you’re wrong…they’re going to put you in jail quick. They’ll come after you quick. The amount of money involved in this, they’re going to want their percentage. You’re best off having the mindset that you do have to pay taxes so you don’t end up in jail…You’re better off playing it safe than playing it naive and ignorant…I would consult with an IRS attorney… They will guide you in the right way.
Iraq still has a few things they have to do to join the WTO which come after the rate changes. Iraq is still waiting for the rate to change, complete a few additional steps and tasks, then they can join the WTO.

I just want the government formed and everything else will follow like a little doggie…Let’s hope we see the government in a couple of weeks and then the monetary reform through a new exchange rate…by the speed of Trump…Things are happening so fast…There’s only one direction. There’s only one landing spot, a new exchange rate.

A government exists. It’s operational on 14 of 23 ministries. The two that determine whether Iraq actually gets control of its weapons — Defense and Interior — are still being fought over by Washington, Tehran, and the militias themselves. Until those seats are filled, the formation question isn’t closed…They need it before the CBI can justify the rate to the IMF.
