IRAN / IRR — PARTLY CHECKED:
A market feed showed the dollar near 1,746,871 rials on 1 October, close to the 1,747,044 figure in circulation.
Iran’s own central-bank table, last loaded for 29 September, still showed 1,736,609.
The free-market quote was about 256,200 toman.
A weaker rial is a slide, not a redenomination and not an RV.
GLOBAL CURRENCY MARKETS — VERIFIED:
Reuters had the euro at about $1.1291, under $1.13 for the first time since May 2025.
Oil, inflation, French yields at a 14-year high, and the biggest quarterly jump in Treasury yields since 1994 did the damage.

The dollar booked a sixth straight quarterly gain.
GLOBAL BANKING — VERIFIED:
On 30 September the Federal Reserve locked in its stress-test rewrite.
A large bank’s stress capital buffer becomes the average of its last two tests.
The Fed says that should halve year-to-year swings without moving aggregate capital much. Averaging begins in 2028.

IQD:
No new Central Bank of Iraq rate. The street dollar price is still well above the 1,300 official rate.

Nothing on an official site today supports a sudden RV in the dinar, the dong, the ZiG, the rial, or the bolívar.
Rails and prices are moving.
